truly enjoyed this wonderful old hotel with very very helpful and caring staff from management to the reception office. the location was ideal and nice because it was right by sarnath, both boats, and transport.

Our room was new-fashioned and neat, offered with a view of the Ganges and all necessary amenities, as example. The location was fantastic and wonderful, close to Harishchandra Ghat.

The hotel was homely and clean, had awesome views of the town itself. The location was brilliant - ease of access to Shivala Ghat. The property was in a fairly quiet area, just next door to the river front, the Ghats, walkable distance from Dashaswamedh as well as Assi ghat, and ganga aarti.

The location was unbeatable and exceptionally nice, near to Varanasi for Dev Deepavali, Assi Ghat, and the Ganges river, stayed here during my trip. It also was in a better area. The breakfast offered a great selection of good meals.

New-fashioned and neat room for what we needed with a view of the Ganges, basic bathroom, big windows. The breakfast was very tasty, such variety, with very tasty dishes and meals ordered at other times and Indian options. The hotel had a fantastic and wonderful location close to Harishchandra Ghat. Superb services where available.

This place is absolutely stunning with its location right at the river bank of the Ganges. The breathtaking view from the room was worth every penny. The staff here are incredibly friendly and their service is top-notch. They always went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and memorable stay. The live music in the evenings added a touch of charm and made the experience even more special. Additionally, the food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, leaving me satisfied after every meal.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of this place firsthand.

Impossible to reach by taxi/TucTuc, must walk last 200 meters. No street light at night, making it difficult to venture out/return after dark. No signs on the hotel/streets.

Our stay here was excellent - we were impressed by the deluxe hotel accommodations, including the air-conditioned deluxe double room and the efficient staff in a marvellous location.

Highlights: friendly staff, location right in front of the Ganges, complimentary boat trip in the evening.

Downside: dirty/used bed sheets, poor breakfast and restaurant, complimentary wifi connection didn't work at any moment

I had an amazing stay at the riverside Haveli. The view from my river-facing room was breathtaking, allowing me to witness the sunrise over the Ganges right from my bed. The hotel's location on the ghat made it convenient for exploring the ghats on foot. The rooftop terrace provided a perfect vantage point to observe the vibrant activities happening on the ghat throughout the day. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my needs were met. The food served in the courtyard restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of options for both Indian and western cuisines. The live Indian music in the evening added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. In spite of a few drawbacks, such as slow service and limited access for vehicles, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm and excellent location.

The location was absolutely fantastic. You can easily go walk along the Ganges River in early morning. The room charge includes a boat ride in the evening. You can also request for a sunrise boat ride at the hotel but it would be cheaper if you pick a boat at the Ganges River. The staffs were very friendly and polite except for the boatman who blatantly asked for a tip.

Everything is expensive.

Location is good

- Took a long time for checking in and out, especially for checking out (20 minutes) - Pre-ordered two extra bed have not had been prepared and needed to wait for hotel staffs to complete their operation after checking in late night; tough for my old parents, since they want to take shower and go to bed as soon as possible. - Unfortunate electric down without backup and no A/C for more than one hours at mid night; hard to sleep! - Those above could be acceptable only when the price are reasonably low, but their price is enough high!; No more chance!

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed with the two complementary facts offered - the classical music and the boat ride. The hotel is located in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city life and yet provides a tranquil space. The view of the river from the hotel is breathtaking and the staff is helpful.

One disadvantage is the need to walk through narrow lanes or arrange for boat rides. The service was not up to the mark, as staff members were not prompt.

Special and quirky hotel, we enjoyed it.

We were in a great and beautiful location relatively close to bustling riverside steps. And it was also not far from back alleys, Suryauday Haveli and the ghats, or banks of the holy Ganges River.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel right on the banks of the Ganges. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the ghats and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Varanasi. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. The rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities and had big windows providing stunning views of the Ganges. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day right.

All was fantastic, nothing to improve!
